Naples by day, by night

Rosaria is a young trans woman from Naples. We meet her over the course of an ordinary day, shaped by small gestures, simple desires and everyday routines. As evening falls, she gets ready to go to work. Even today, for many trans women, prostitution remains a reality shaped more by necessity than by choice.

The second part of the project is dedicated to Le Coccinelle, a historic group of Neapolitan trans performers founded in the late 1970s. Through their theatrical and musical performances, they have spent decades promoting a message of freedom. Their humor has the power to create moments of deep reflection in the most unexpected settings: weddings, christenings, First Communions and local celebrations.
